The challenges presented from building on a sloping site were addressed with a simple house and simple structure. By building 3 stories, the house fit into the slope of the site. Steel beams were utilized to maximize spans creating an open floor plan and allowing for a greater window areas to take in the surrounding trees and view. Decks were provided at every level to further enhance the indoor outdoor experience.
