THE CHALLENGES PRESENTED FROM BUILDING ON A SLOPING SITE WERE ADDRESSED WITH A SIMPLE HOUSE AND SIMPLE STRUCTURE. BY BUILDING 3 STORIES, THE HOUSE FIT INTO THE SLOPE OF THE SITE. STEEL BEAMS WERE UTILIZED TO MAXIMIZE SPANS CREATING AN OPEN FLOOR PLAN AND ALLOWING FOR A GREATER WINDOW AREAS TO TAKE IN THE SURROUNDING TREES AND VIEW. DECKS WERE PROVIDED AT EVERY LEVEL TO FURTHER ENHANCE THE INDOOR OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE.
